THE POSITION
Bryn Mawr College’s Human Resources Department seeks candidates for the position of Benefits Manager to support Bryn Mawr College’s comprehensive benefits plan.
The Benefits Manager will be a hands-on manager who will report to the Director of Human Resources and be responsible for the College’s benefits programs such as healthcare, paid time off, disability, retirement, commuter benefits and more. Approximately 700 employees participate in the plan. The successful candidate will assist employees with questions and problems, manage vendors and broker relationships, evaluate plans and make suggestions for changes, manage open enrollment and ensure the College is in compliance with all laws and regulations. The College has started the process of replacing our HR, Payroll and Finance systems and the successful candidate will play an integral role in the implementation. The Benefits Manager will receive implementation training along with the rest of the HR team.
Bachelor’s degree required along with 3 - 5 years of experience in benefits administration. Candidates should have experience using an HR system and knowledge of HR laws and regulations such as FMLA, FLSA, ACA, etc.
The salary range is $75,000 – 90,000 annually depending on experience.
